Thanksgiving Luncheon
Who doesn’t love the traditional Thanksgiving meal? Join Self-Help for the Elderly to celebrate this day of giving thanks for our blessings and enjoy a wonderful holiday meal.
The Thanksgiving Luncheon is held every November to provide our elders with an afternoon of good food, friends, and fun! The luncheon attracts over 3,000 guests each year, and continues to grow. Families and friends of the seniors join us for this holiday filled event.
Guests will be served a delicious Thanksgiving meal with all the traditional fixings. Seniors that are not able to physically attend the luncheon will have their meal delivered to them so that they can still enjoy the event and the Thanksgiving meal.
There are also plenty of opportunities to volunteer for the event and serve the seniors and their guests. Volunteers can sign up individually or with group from an organization.
